I honestly have no memory of seeing this match despite having watched this show live and on tape. Now Kurt jumps Rock and tosses him back into the ring. He brought Chester into the ring and hit him in the head with a microphone. Big Show pins Raven in Crazy intensity from Angle when he traps Rock in the Ankle Lock. Got this from another forum, crazy stuff.
So Kat ends this feud while JR wishes to move on so fast I can only admire the man. They block finishers and Rock catapults The Game into the turnbuckles. That sounds very suspect if you ask me. This lit a fire under Triple H and he finally was able to start unloading his own offense. They also teased Tori receiving one early in the match. I did get to meet X-Pac though, which I guess was sorta cool.
Mike Johns on Chyna & Her Importance in American Wrestling History
Triple H sidesteps Angle and tosses Angle into the steel steps. Triple H is back on top of the mountain and he has in his possession the richest prize in the industry. Everything is in sepia tone and it is all about the WWF Championship. Vince exits, along with Trish. While not as popular as Sable's two pictorials, the issue did well and beyond the normal monthly sales of the magazine at the time, and is still ranked among some of the magazine's best-selling issues. Angle beat Rock back at No Mercy to win the title in the first place.
Triple H says he lied to Bulldog and refuses his challenge. Taka hits a high cross body onto Malenko on the outside, and then gets a two with a backslide. As the Holly cousins double-teamed Jericho, Chyna made her way to the ring to help the champ out. Lita hits a victory roll for another two, but Holly comes back with an arm drag. I had so much fun re-watching this.
